Tikigaq Corporation of Point Hope, Alaska, is an Alaska Native Village Corporation, which was established in 1971 under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA).
The corporation has approximately 1,400 Inupiat shareholders. A majority of our shareholders are in Point Hope, and are also shareholders of the Arctic Slope Regional Corporation (ASRC). Tikigaq has proven arctic construction capabilities, rural and urban environmental expertise, logistics services experience, and supports local hire throughout various projects. Our resources include staff engineers, scientists, project managers, superintendents, office managers, purchasing agents, quality control personnel, and safety specialists.
Tikigaq has operations in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and in Anchorage, Fairbanks and Point Hope, Alaska.
AGVIQ LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tikigaq Corporation, successfully graduated from the U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) 8(a) Program in February 2010, and is a successful small business. AGVIQ has Joint Venture agreements with CH2M HILL, a global leader in consulting, design, design-build, operations and program management services.
Tikigaq Construction, LLC, Tikigaq Corporation’s other wholly-owned subsidiary, is in its fourth year of the SBA 8(a) program and is also involved in the SBA’s Mentor-Protégé program with Conti Federal Services, Inc, as its mentor. Conti Federal Services, Inc. is a project delivery company that provides program management, engineering, and construction services across the U.S. and internationally.
