Tikigaq Federal, LLC, is composed of a team of qualified personnel, providing expertise in construction, project management, renovations, operations and maintenance, base operations services, facility security services, and other caretaker services. We work with our clients to ensure customer satisfaction, quality projects/products, and cost-effective services. We believe the key to any successful project is gaining a thorough understanding of the client’s needs and focusing our attention on satisfying those needs in a timely, safe, efficient and cost productive way.
The following summaries represent some of our projects:
Tyler Perry Studios – Atlanta, GA
Performs two primary functions that include Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Services and Facility Security Services.
The O&M Services include grounds maintenance for approximately 350 acres, exterior and interior building maintenance for the site including buildings registered as historic sites, HVAC (packaged units, mini-split units, boilers, and chillers) for all buildings at the studio site, custodial services, maintenance of low voltage and overhead distribution electrical lines serving the site, locksmith services, vehicle and equipment maintenance, perimeter / security fence maintenance and inspection, warehouse operations, and general services to support movie productions.
On the Facility Security services, we provide guard personnel and supervision to control front entrance access to all studio personnel, actors and extras, and visitors on a 24/7/365 basis. Provides security guard personnel for roving patrols to ensure facilities and perimeters are not breached by unauthorized persons.
The following are overviews of the key personnel at Tikigaq Construction:
Mr. Fields is a Registered Professional Engineer with more than 30 years of experience in design, management, inspection and building of various types of construction projects. His responsibilities include management and inspection of construction projects, cost analysis, bid processes, sub-contractor scheduling and meetings and material procurement. He has worked on residential, commercial, environmental and industrial projects, including historical restorations. He is well versed in all aspects of the construction process – from design and bidding to the finished project. Projects have included most contracting types including MATOC (IDIQ) awards; they also varied in size, scope, detail, and magnitude. He has worked on projects throughout Alaska and is uniquely familiar with cold weather climates and associated logistics in meeting barge and freight considerations. The logistical experience gained through these projects continues to enhance performance of new and existing contracts throughout the organization. Prior to moving to Alaska, he worked on projects in the contiguous United States, primarily in Kansas and New Mexico. Mr. Fields was a licensed contractor in New Mexico from 1984 to 2003. As the Responsible Managing Employee for the majority of our Contractor Licenses in the contiguous United States, Mr. Fields maintains his CEU requirements and stays current with the latest improvements in the Construction Industry.
Violet Attungana, Program Manager
Ms. Attungana has 20 years of experience in contract management, administration, project management, and bid & proposals efforts on contracts. Her experience will be instrumental in managing and obtaining the goals of business development and growth in the area of federal facility maintenance services in Alaska, Continental U.S., and Guam.
Ms. Attungana has worked in construction as an Office Manager, Senior Project Administrator, and Contracts Administrator assisting with projects on building and renovating schools, water and sewer upgrades, oil industry facilities, operations and maintenance, and government contracting. She has managed an administrative staff of 20 people on a 65 million dollar contract on the North Slope of Alaska on the Alpine project. She has worked with Project Managers, Project Engineers, Project Superintendents, Estimating Managers, and Operations Managers on overseeing bidding documents, and frontend to close out documentation of the projects. She has experience in enhancing safety training programs and other operational procedures.
Ms. Attungana earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Ms. Attungana is a Native shareholder of Arctic Slope Regional Corporation and Tikigaq Corporation. Since 2012, she has served as a Tikigaq Corporation Board of Director where she is currently serving as the Treasurer, and on the Tigara Educational Foundation Board of Directors.
Ms. Attungana will be using her working knowledge of all construction aspects to increase the growth of the company, managing projects on time, on budget, providing a high quality product, while maintaining a high level of safety.
